WE ARE ON THE HOME STRETCH!

Dear friends of the mozart 100,

September is fast approaching and our team is working hard to offer you an unforgettable running experience on the most beautiful trails in Austria after the long break. Alpine terrain, flowing trails, crisp climbs and fast downhills await you again at the 9th mozart 100 on September 4. Considering the current conditions and the ongoing positive developments, we firmly believe that the race will go ahead as planned.

As you may have followed on our social media channels, our team around Claudia, Josef and Sepp was recently – on the actual race date on June 19 – together with Friends and Family of the mozart 100 on the trails in the Salzburger Land to run the route and test it for you. “If the postponement brought anything positive with it, then perhaps that our runners did not have to go on the trails in over 30 degrees Celsius like we did,” Claudia told us with a twinkle in her eye.

You can be excited, because we are currently working at full speed to be able to present you a partly new route as soon as we have finalized it.

The shift to September brings some changes. Many of you will have less daylight during your race than in previous years, which has changed the mandatory equipment for some events. We have therefore adapted the Race Guide and ask you to read it conscientiously so that you are optimally prepared for your races.

Although Austria is currently considered to be a very safe country to travel to, we are constantly keeping an eye on the current COVID-19 situation and the associated regulations.

We will communicate all planned measures in the weeks leading up to September 4 to ensure maximum safety for all involved. The 3-G rule currently in force in Austria will take effect in any case, therefor a mask requirement is unlikely.

There is also movement in terms of partnerships, and we look forward to providing you with exciting updates very soon. So, stay diligent and let’s work together towards our big goal – you train, we prepare.

Sporty regards,

your mozart 100 team
